Hi, new to the products and I’ve only used them twice. The second time was the charm! The first time, I don’t think I used enough of this or the gel and I was rushing through my twist/braid out, so I wasn’t crazy about my results. but this second time I used slightly more product, added the two oils for growth and breakage and went much more slowly in terms of styling and it came out beautifully. left it twisted for twp days ad when I took it down it looked great. misted it and retwisted it that night– force of habit– and looked great the next day too. The hold is great–touchable and not crunchy at all.It is doing very well in the humidity this first week of July. My hair is very shiny and the curl pattern looks nice/is defined. UNLIKE OTHER PRODUCTS i HAVE TRIED i did not have any white residue or flaking. my hair was also very wet this time when I twisted/braided it as opposed to the first time so maybe that made a difference. I will say unlike some of the other products i have used in the past my hair dried very very quickly and when i took the twists and braids down there was no gunny product feeling to them. it just felt soft and moisturized. with other products I have used before, my hair often takes two days to dry and is very gummy with product when I take it down. I am not sure I will wash this weekend, I will like to see if I can make this last two weeks and I also want to see what the effect is if I just retwist or braid at night without misting. I am not brave enough to just sleep on it with a bonnet without twisting I look forward to trying the caramel souffle and the co-wash and seeing if the oils work on my thinning/ breakage, etc.
