Demetrion Ware: Master Herbalist, CEO of Keravada, and 5-Year Cancer Survivor

KeraVada was founded in 2012 by Demetrion Ware when he discovered that many products that were for African American women were not owned by people of color.  As he did more research he had also came to realize that the product ingredients in many of these brands were not healthy and many of them ridden with cancer causing ingredients.  

Ironically 7 years later, Demetrion faced one of life’s greatest challenges when he was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, a battle that tested his strength, faith, and determination. The cancer had metastasized  causing severe pain and threatening his ability to continue his work. Through a combination of conventional treatment and his own expertise in herbal medicine, Demetrion not only overcame the disease but emerged stronger and more committed to his life’s work.

During his recovery, Demetrion deepened his research into the healing properties of herbs, which played a pivotal role in his journey to remission. This experience profoundly influenced the formulation of Keravada’s product line, as he sought to create hair care solutions that are not only effective but also rooted in the principles of natural healing.
